About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and motivated PM Dockhand to join our Dry Creek SA team in permanent part-time positions.
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 7:30pm
This hands-on role is responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, preparing shipments for dispatch, assisting with warehouse operations, and ensuring freight moves efficiently through the depot.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
- Sort, scan and prepare freight for dispatch
- Operate a forklift where required
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
- Complete freight scanning and warehouse documentation accurately
- Work closely with the operations team to meet daily service requirements
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
What You'll Bring
- Previous warehouse or freight handling experience (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- C Class drivers Licence (desirable)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience using Salesforce or similar systems (desirable)
- Ability to complete general administrative tasks
- Ability to support operational reporting and respond to customer enquiries
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude
