Node.js Developer

Pixie Pets (pixiepets.app) is an AI-commerce pet-tech startup: pet owners upload a photo of their pet, our generative AI turns it into a stylized portrait, and they order it as a real, printed product. We are planning to expand to new countries, and we are looking for a Node.js developer to collaborate with us. We are fully remote.

You will work on the platform behind Pixie Pets: the Node.js backend and APIs, the generative AI image pipeline, and the e-commerce and order flow. You will work directly with the founders in a small, async, fully remote team. We care about shipped outcomes, not tracked hours.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs.

• Integrate the generative AI image pipeline and third-party services.

• Work on the e-commerce, checkout, and order flow.

• Ship fast and iterate directly with the founders.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with Node.js and JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Comfortable designing and integrating REST APIs.

• Proficient in leveraging AI-based automation.

• Able to own features end to end.

• Fluent English.

• Experience with AI or image generation APIs - nice to have

• E-commerce or payment integrations (Stripe and similar) - nice to have
