SAP FI Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant to support and continuously improve financial processes within SAP environments. The position focuses primarily on application support and maintenance, complemented by system enhancements, change requests, and selected implementation activities.

You will cooperate with business users, finance teams, and technical specialists in an international environment, acting as a key contact for SAP Financial Accounting topics.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the implementation and operation of SAP FI and S/4HANA Finance solutions - from business analysis and requirements management through to implementation.
• Work on SAP Finance projects, including accounting and asset accounting, with the opportunity to take responsibility for selected project management activities.
• Support the design and implementation of data migrations within SAP Finance projects.
• Implement, configure and maintain SAP Finance solutions for clients from the healthcare, SME and public sectors.
• Conduct customer workshops and presentations.
• Provide Application Management and ongoing support for SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA Finance solutions.
• Deliver training sessions covering SAP FI and S/4HANA Finance sub-modules.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the SAP Finance service portfolio.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance, including hands-on experience with customizing relevant financial processes.
• Experience in SAP Application Management or participation in S/4HANA implementation projects (brownfield/greenfield).
• Good understanding of financial processes, particularly accounting and asset accounting.
• English B2+.
• German B2+ or communicative German with willingness to improve.
• Willingness to develop a strong understanding of German legal requirements, tax law and regulatory frameworks.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and their application in Application Management Services, ideally with ServiceNow.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or Design Thinking.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance data migrations, including tools such as SAP LSMW and SAP S/4HANA Migration Tool.
