Ready to make your mark? Shape a global leader’s expansion in France and Southern Europe!
We are Sievo. A Finnish-born, global-leading procurement analytics SaaS company, and we’re officially opening our doors in Paris. For years, we’ve successfully built and served the French and Southern European markets remotely from our Helsinki HQ, and now we are entering our next growth chapter. We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team in France and be at the forefront of this expansion.
The Southern Europe region proudly and successfully provides value to global leading brands in their domain such as SNCF, Total Energy and Opella, to name a few. The region is experiencing significant growth, and we have big ambitions to provide even more value to our clients and partners. As the first Key Account Manager of our Paris office, this is a chance to shape our local presence and leave your mark - with the full backing of an over 20-year-old, global procurement analytics SaaS leader.
As a Key Account Manager, you will focus on:
Account management: You’ll have full commercial and contractual ownership of a portfolio of 15+ enterprise accounts. You will be leading your own client cluster to drive client satisfaction and success, while focusing on where the highest value is.
Driving growth & retention: You’ll have ownership over your accounts’ retention, satisfaction and upsales, and focus on building their account strategy and roadmap. You will be driving our growth by ensuring that we meet and go beyond our clients’ expectations as well as grow their use of our solutions.
Influencing decision-makers: You’ll guide CxO’s and key decision-makers in the procurement and finance departments, acting as their trusted advisor.
Collaboration: In this strategic and highly visible role, you’ll work in close collaboration with the Southern European leadership and Helsinki-based Account Management organization while being supported by other functions globally.
What we’re looking for:
We're looking for someone with procurement expertise and the drive to learn, rather than a lengthy track record in account management. If you have a strong grasp of procurement and you're excited to grow into the commercial side, this could be the role for you. Ideally you have:
Procurement expertise: You have prior experience with procurement consulting, working with procurement solution providers, or hands-on procurement experience. In essence, you understand the day-to-day life of a Category Manager, a CPO, or a Procurement Excellence Manager.
Commercial & SaaS acumen: You understand what it takes to sell and support a SaaS offering to enterprise customers. Prior experience working with account management, expansion opportunities, retention and churn risk mitigation is a plus - what matters the most is your ability to pick these up quickly.
Relationship building: You excel at building and nurturing long-lasting relationships at executive level with global clients and thrive to exceed client expectations. You’re not afraid to find and get to know the right people - you’re able to navigate complex organizations to find the relevant key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Impactful communication: You posses fluent communication skills in both French and English. You have excellent presentation skills enabling you to build credibility with senior stakeholders in Procurement, IT, ESG and Finance functions.
Organizational skills: You have the ability to stay ahead across a portfolio of accounts, balance competing priorities, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Tech-driven mindset: You are tech-savvy, and a quick learner of new software and technologies. You’re able to transform your knowledge into solution proposals for your customers.
What we also appreciate:
Previous experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or B2B SaaS sales.
In addition to French and English, ability to hold discussions in other languages, such as Spanish or German, is considered as an advantage.
What awaits you at Sievo:
You get to be a key player in building Sievo’s presence in Southern Europe, trusted with ownership and flexibility to shape your role.
You’ll partner and work directly with high profile executives from Fortune 500 and 1000 companies, as well as with Sievo’s senior executive team committed to your success.
A team of 40+ nationalities, so you’ll have the possibility to work with an international group of great people with diverse backgrounds.
Sievonians are ambitious, yet kind and supportive - you’ll be challenged to grow, backed to succeed, and never left to figure it out alone.
Our Finnish roots run deep: we are founded on an open, honest and transparent Nordic working culture where we value freedom and responsibility. We are looking for people who yearn for this freedom, are able to make the most out of it and are willing to take on the responsibility.
This is a full-time position, and the salary model consists of base salary and commission.
Sievo has a flexible hybrid working policy. Our new colleague is expected to be based in Paris and join us at the office in Paris around 2-3 days per week. The position requires occasional travel to customer sites, mostly within France, Southern Europe and to our global Headquarters in Helsinki (approximately 30 days a year).
Please note that we are unable to provide relocation sponsorship for this role and all candidates should be eligible to work in France.
As excited as we are? Here are the next steps!
To take the first step on this great growth adventure, we encourage you to send your CV, cover letter and salary expectation through our recruitment system by October 18th. We will be going through applications on a continuous basis, and the position will be filled when a suitable candidate has been found. This means that we look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible!
