Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and a strong focus on security governance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD tools, and scripting languages, with a proven track record of implementing secure cloud solutions. This role is critical in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes, including Pipelines, Boards, Repos, and Artifacts, to enhance security in the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Azure Bicep to automate security configurations.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud environments, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing remediation strategies.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
• Provide guidance on security governance and best practices for cloud architecture.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in cloud computing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Computing, Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Networking, and Cloud Security Azure Data Governance.
• Mastery of Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts) is a deal breaker.
• Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python and PowerShell/Bash for automation and security workflows.
• Proven experience in implementing security governance frameworks in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure Machine Learning and Open AI is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related role.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent are preferred.
