Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in CAD Modelling & Drafting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, ensuring that they can effectively utilize our software and services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CAD software and drafting tools.
- Assist clients in understanding and utilizing CAD Modelling & Drafting features effectively.
- Document and track support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve software bugs and enhancements.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on CAD software usage.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to improve product features based on client interactions.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in CAD Modelling & Drafting.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in providing technical support in a software environment.
- Familiarity with other engineering software tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in CAD.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and user manuals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 5 years of experience in technical support or a related role.
- Certifications in CAD software are a plus.
