Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in Quality Engineering (QE), specifically in Performance and Automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal performance of our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of software performance testing methodologies and the ability to automate testing processes to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, addressing software performance issues and ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct software performance testing to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve overall software quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on performance related aspects.
• Document and communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of performance related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software performance testing and automation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in software performance testing, with a strong understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Expertise in automation testing frameworks and scripting languages.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
• Experience in working with cross functional teams and managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud based performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in technical support engineering with a focus on software performance testing.
• Relevant certifications in Quality Engineering or Performance Testing are a plus.
