Job Title: Senior Automated UI Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automated UI Tester with extensive experience in Automated UI Testing using Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our applications. You will work closely with cross functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in automated testing.
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automated testing and Selenium.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Automated UI Testing using Selenium.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and identify testing requirements.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automated UI testing.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or automation are a plus.
