Vice President, Engineering Design
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Techno is seeking a strategic and technically accomplished Vice President of Engineering Design to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of multidisciplinary design programs across transportation, water, facilities, and public infrastructure projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering design projects across transportation, water, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Oversee design quality, budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
- Manage engineering teams and coordinate design efforts across disciplines.
- Serve as a technical advisor and maintain strong client relationships.
- Review design documents and ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
- Resolve technical challenges and support innovative, practical solutions.
- Support business development through proposals, presentations, and client pursuits.
- Partner with project managers to align design execution with project goals.
- Mentor engineering staff and support professional development.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of engineering design leadership in consulting or infrastructure.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex design projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design, project delivery, and quality standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, or similar software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience with public infrastructure projects and agency standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and business development skills.
COMPENSATION
The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $200,000/yr-$225,000/yr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
