Your Role

As a Junior Salesforce Developer, you'll join Technogym's dynamic technology team and embark on an exciting career in Salesforce development. We're looking for an enthusiastic, curious individual who is eager to learn and grow while contributing to meaningful projects that impact our global wellness community.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce and declarative tools under the guidance of senior developers
• Write clean, well-documented code following team coding standards and Salesforce best practices
• Assist in building integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
• Participate in code reviews to learn from experienced team members and improve your coding skills
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and meet testing requirements
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing code with support from the development team
• Collaborate with administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Document technical designs and development work for knowledge sharing
• Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features through Trailhead and other learning resources
• Contribute to team knowledge base and documentation efforts
• Support testing and deployment activities in sandbox and production environments
• Assist with data migration and data quality improvement tasks

Qualification and background

Required

• 1-2 years of Salesforce development experience or relevant programming experience with demonstrated interest in Salesforce (personal projects, Trailhead badges, or volunteer work counts!)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience (we value skills and potential over credentials-bootcamp graduates, self-taught developers, and career changers are welcome)
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and web development fundamentals
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce platform, including understanding of objects, fields, relationships, and basic automation
• Exposure to version control systems (Git) or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills

Desirable

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or actively working toward it
• Experience with Lightning Web Components, Aura Components or Visualforce
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules)
• Knowledge of SOQL and SOSL query languages
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (ReST, SOAP)
• Understanding of software testing principles and test-driven development
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Active Trailhead profile with completed modules and badges
• Experience with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding portfolio
• Participation in Salesforce community events, user groups, or developer forums

Compensation Data

We believe great work deserves great recognition. For this role, we offer an annual gross salary (RAL) between €30,000 and €45,000, based on your level of experience, technical skills, and scope of responsibilities, in accordance with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici).
