Telenet is looking for a Team Manager Residential Solution Architecture
Every stream, every smart-home device, every seamless WiFi connection in a customer's living room starts as a decision on an architect's whiteboard. As Team Manager Residential Solution Architecture, you lead the team that makes those decisions - turning strategy into the applications and systems that carry Telenet's residential business into its next chapter.
Working in the Solution Architecture team
Residential technology doesn't stand still. Viewing habits shift, connectivity expectations rise, and new capabilities - from AI-driven personalisation to smarter network automation - arrive faster than most organisations can absorb them. At Telenet, we don't just keep pace with that change; we want to be the ones setting it. Your job is to give that ambition a solid technical backbone: an Enterprise Architecture robust enough to support bold moves, and flexible enough to bend around whatever comes next.
Your tasks as a Team Manager Residential Solution Architecture
You'll help shape Telenet's future application and information landscape for our Residential customers, working within the Product & Technology organisation.
Concretely, you:
- lead, coach and grow a team of Solution Architects;
- own the long-term vision for modernising and rationalising our Residential applications, weighing organisational impact against where the market is heading;
- keep a close eye on emerging technology and translate what's genuinely relevant into smart, well-timed architectural choices rather than chasing every trend;
- carry end-to-end architectural responsibility for a portfolio of initiatives, presenting and defending your thinking to stakeholders up to C-level.
Our ideal Team Manager Residential Solution Architecture
- Is a genuine people leader - someone who grows the team, sets clear priorities, and makes decisions with conviction.
- Has real technical affinity and stays genuinely curious about where technology is heading, from AI to whatever comes after it, and knows how to separate hype from what's actually worth building on.
- Is a strong, natural communicator who can make complex architecture make sense to engineers and executives alike.
- Thrives in an agile way of working and is comfortable operating independently.
- Keeps learning by default, even when - especially when - the ground keeps shifting.
- Holds a bachelor's or master's degree and brings at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Speaks English fluently.
