Snr Manager: Network Operations

Core Description

• Responsible for the effective management of a Network Operations business plan that will enable innovative, current and future, infrastructure in a dedicated area/ region.
• Implement and manage engineering build and field operations with a strong focus on the efficiency and reliability of the core and access network including all cable infrastructures in the dedicated area/ region including rehabilitation of the network.
• Implement and manage effective fulfillment and assurance processes, as well as the end-to-end process flow to create and maintain a positive customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Management of the Network Operation's business plan
• Develop and execute the area's business plan
• Obtain required information from key role players
• Identify, and ensure the implementation and tracking of targets & goals for environment
• Implement and manage access engineering build and field operation
• Ensure an efficient and reliable core and access network including all cable infrastructures
• Project Management implementation
• Effective management of fulfillment and assurance processes
• Ensure that customers are connected to the network
• Ensure that quality & timeline requirements are met
• Manage the performance, productivity, development and wellbeing of own team:

• Manage and control network rehabilitation
• Manage and control quality audits
• Monitor and mitigate risks (including business continuity and operational risk management) within the network environment
• Support strategic projects led from Openserve
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budget, expenditure and performance reporting
• Ensure legal compliance and corporate governance
• Implement and adhere to Openserve policies and procedures
• Drive BBBEE Diversity targets

• NQF 7: Bachelor's Degree/ Advanced Diploma

Experience

• 7 Years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years on management level
