You will research market and industry social trends, support career events and candidate communications, coordinate talent community activities, and track campaign results to help improve our employer brand and attract great talent to Telstra.

As a Recruitment Marketing Coordinator, you activate social always-on recruitment marketing campaigns that build awareness of Telstra, nurture priority talent communities to drive qualified candidate engagement before roles open.

What You'll Do

Your key responsibilities in the role will be:

Recruitment marketing campaign delivery

  • Coordinating always-on paid and organic activity across digital, social and owned channels

Talent community growth and nurture

  • Building and maintaining talent segment communities/databases for Frontline, Tech, Field through communication channels

Career site traffic and conversion support

  • Driving qualified traffic to the careers site through campaign content, channel plans and audience-led messaging.

Data, insights and optimisation

  • Tracking channel and campaign performance, identifying what is working, and recommending improvements to targeting, messaging and channel mix.

TA and recruiter partnership

  • Partnering with recruiters to understand future hiring demand, aligning campaign priorities and converting market insight into attraction activity.

EVP and storytelling consistency

  • Ensuring internal culture messaging and external employer brand storytelling are consistent, authentic and aligned to EVP.

About you

You're someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life and supporting marketing activities. You love being organised, working across multiple projects, and collaborating with others to deliver campaigns and communications that make an impact.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Some experience in marketing, communications, recruitment marketing, employer branding, talent attraction, or a related field.

  • An understanding of digital and social media channels, including paid and owned.

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Experience coordinating projects, campaigns or communications.

  • An interest in using data and insights to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • A curiosity for learning about talent markets, industry trends and competitor activity.

  • An understanding of marketing fundamentals and how different channels work together to reach audiences.

  • Exposure to email marketing, CRM platforms or customer journey communications is beneficial.

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
