Manager, India Partnerships
Role Summary
Temporal is a paradigm shift in modern application development, and one of the fastest developer movements in recent memory. Following our $300M Series D at a $5B valuation, we’re continuing to power the future of durable applications and have quickly become the orchestrator of choice for production agentic workloads. As Manager, India Partnerships - and our first partnerships hire in India - you’ll build our partner ecosystem and go-to-market from the ground up. Your primary goal is to be a force multiplier for the India sales team and a critical lever in beating the number, bringing the full breadth of partner motions - SIs, Cloud, ISV, etc - to originate and accelerate closed/won business, as well as driving post-sale consumption and success through partners. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our India field teams to execute with partners, and build a thriving partner ecosystem in India from the ground up.
A secondary - but critical - mandate is to activate Global System Integrators (GSIs) locally in India in close partnership with Temporal’s global partner team. You’ll translate global GSI relationships, programs, and investments into local execution through activating decision makers and delivery teams. This role is incredibly unique and high leverage - serving as a force multiplier for both the India business, as well as our global GSI strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow the India partner ecosystem across SI/GSI and Cloud in particular, as well shaping the strategy and prioritization across other partner motions
- Relentlessly focus on helping India exceed its number through partner-sourced and influenced business - maximizing pipeline, accelerating deals, and building partner plays aligned to India field priorities
- Be a trusted advisor and force multiplier for our India field teams, working hand-in-hand with sales and cross-functional partners to execute the highest-impact partner motions
- Activate GSIs locally in India in lockstep with the global partner team, translating global relationships and programs into local activation, enablement, pipeline, and wins
- Partner with our Technical Services teams to accelerate SI and GSI technical enablement, practitioner readiness, and project success
- Operate and execute across business development, direct selling, partner management, field engagement, and partner-led deal strategy
- Develop and execute creative business development plays to drive net new business, consumption acceleration, and repeatable partner-led growth in India
- Serve as the primary advocate for India partners while coordinating closely with global partner owners, ensuring local execution reinforces global strategy and India priorities are represented globally
- Embed a partner-first mentality within Temporal’s India sales organization and make partners a consistent part of account planning, pipeline creation, and deal execution
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years in India partnerships, alliances, and/or enterprise sales, with a proven track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems across SIs, GSIs and Cloud partners
- Excellent attention to detail, excellent work ethic and unwavering commitment to delivering business results
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with and influence sales, cross-functional teams, partner executives, and global alliance stakeholders
- Highly motivated self-starter that embraces white space, and turns that white space into opportunities and impact
