We are looking for a motivated and organised Product Intern to join our Cape Town team and gain hands-on experience working within a global product organisation.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Product Intern to join our Product team in Cape Town, South Africa on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is designed for someone who is looking to start their career in Product Management and gain practical experience supporting the delivery and improvement of digital products. You will work closely with a Senior Product Manager and contribute to key product operations, including system configuration, quality assurance, documentation, user feedback analysis, and product delivery activities.

You will have the opportunity to observe and participate in agile product practices, gaining exposure to product strategy, stakeholder collaboration, and the end-to-end product lifecycle.

For the right candidate who demonstrates strong capability, curiosity, and commitment, this internship may provide a pathway towards future Product opportunities within Ten.

Key Responsibilities

Product Operations & Configuration

• Support the configuration and setup of new schemes, member profiles, and product features within our platforms.
• Maintain accurate product information and ensure system updates are completed efficiently.

Quality Assurance (QA)

• Assist with testing new features, enhancements, and system updates before release.
• Identify, document, and communicate issues to support a high-quality member experience.

Product Administration & Documentation

• Support daily product team operations, including documentation, release notes, process updates, and general product housekeeping.
• Help maintain clear and organised product documentation.

Product Delivery & Agile Support

• Shadow a Senior Product Manager during key product ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Gain exposure to agile delivery processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Product Discovery Support

• Assist with gathering, analysing, and summarising member feedback from support channels and internal stakeholders.
• Support the identification of opportunities for product improvements.

Backlog & Data Support

• Assist with maintaining and refining the product backlog.
• Support basic product reporting, tracking metrics, and monitoring product performance.

• Currently based in Cape Town, South Africa and able to work in a hybrid environment.
