Job Description

The Jobholder supports the execution of internal audit activities across the Company by assessing internal controls, evaluating compliance with policies and regulations, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The role contributes to the preparation of audit reports, risk assessments, and follow-up activities to ensure the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Execution: Participate in the planning and execution of internal audit engagements in accordance with the Annual Audit Plan.
• Risk & Control Assessment: Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and assess the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
• Compliance Review: Assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards.
• Data Analysis & Testing: Perform audit testing, data analysis, and review of supporting documentation to identify discrepancies and control gaps.
• Audit Reporting: Prepare audit findings, recommendations, and reports for management review.
• Follow-up Activities: Monitor and track the implementation of agreed corrective actions and audit recommendations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business functions to gather information, discuss findings, and promote control awareness.
• Continuous Improvement: Support the enhancement of audit methodologies, processes, and reporting tools while staying informed of industry best practices and emerging risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, compliance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, ACCA or equivalent is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS).
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with audit management software will be considered an advantage.
