Commercial Landscape Construction Superintendent

Teufel Landscape is hiring an experienced Project Superintendent to lead the day-to-day field execution of commercial landscape construction projects. This position works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate crews, equipment, materials, schedules, and jobsite priorities while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

What You’ll Do

• Direct daily field operations, including crews, equipment, materials, and site readiness.
• Partner closely with the Project Manager to plan upcoming work, address jobsite needs, and keep projects moving forward.
• Provide the Project Manager with timely updates on progress, labor, productivity, materials, schedule changes, and field issues.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
• Monitor labor hours, production, equipment use, and material consumption against project expectations.
• Coordinate jobsite activities with the general contractor and other trades to prevent conflicts and delays.
• Maintain quality standards, manage punch-list work, and support project closeout.
• Train and supervise field employees while reinforcing safety, accountability, and professional conduct.
• Complete required daily reports, timekeeping, safety documentation, and jobsite records.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA requirements.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of commercial landscape construction experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of irrigation, grading, hardscape, and plant installation.
• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Basic technology skills.

This is an active, outdoor position performed on commercial construction sites in varying weather and terrain.
