Passionate about building robust solutions with global impact? Thales Mexico is looking for a Software Developer/Engineer to join a team designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge technology solutions for the financial sector.

In this role, you'll lead the analysis, design, and development of software solutions, working closely with technical teams around the world, driving Thales best practices, and bringing innovative ideas that generate real business impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead business requirements analysis, prototyping, design, coding, and bug fixing - always pushing for the best possible architecture and design.
• Recommend and execute new approaches to existing software development processes, ensuring technical quality and managing security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with global Thales teams, sharing knowledge and negotiating technical topics to ensure alignment with company best practices.
• Contribute innovative ideas for technical improvements and business opportunities.

Must-Have

• B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering.
• Fluent Business English.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Prior experience in the banking/financial sector.
• Strong background in Java (Spring Framework, J2EE) and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA2).
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.

⭐ Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and build tools (Maven/Ant).
• AWS cloud experience.
