Financial Analysis Advisor - Enterprise Portfolio, Hyderabad

Financial Advisor supporting the spend management team within Enterprise Portfolio Finance. This position will lead various financial reporting requirements and own associated quarterly production activities. The focus of the role is to lead crucial accounting and financial expense logistics. Other expense management responsibilities will include variance analysis and serving as a day-to-day financial consultant to various Portfolio stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles and forward-looking analysis are crucial to ensure expenses are managed appropriately. Effective communication of financial performance across various levels of the organization will also be key.

< >Own key monthly production activities and financial reporting for the Portfolio including consolidation of technology and business actuals to ensure costs are accurately being tracked against budgetsLead quarterly segment and Enterprise financial reporting requirements by providing insightful commentary on changes to Portfolio spend relative to prior periodsServe as spend management primary contact for new tooling initiatives impacting Portfolio Finance processesServe as subject matter expert including both projection and actuals for various Portfolio initiatives across the organizationPartner with Portfolio representatives to present actual expense activity Track risks and opportunities (R&Os) through proactive partnership with Portfolio contacts to understand trends in spend trajectory throughout the year and develop best estimate forward looking projections. Manage the expense allocation process across Cigna and Evernorth P&Ls to ensure Portfolio costs are accurately reported by segment, products, and other dimensions, including providing information for monthly Cigna expense governance meetingsOwn technology and business domain ledger mapping to ensure budgets are set appropriately by ledger Act as Microsoft Excel expert to build new and complex models with ability to succinctly summarize key messages to senior leaders based on up-to-date financial data Provide recommendations for process automation for various financial models to improve accuracy including intercompany calculations for capitalization and amortizationActively liaise with various finance partners and other matrix partners such as Finance controllers, segment expense finance leads, accounting, and portfolio leads as needed

Education:

< >Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred.Experience:

< >Minimum of 11-13 years of experience in finance, financial analysis, or business planning field

Skills:
