The Cigna Group is an American health services company whose insurance roots go back to 1792 and whose modern form dates from the 1982 merger that created Cigna. Its business is now dominated by Evernorth, the health services arm containing the pharmacy benefit manager Express Scripts, specialty pharmacy, care delivery and behavioural health, while Cigna Healthcare sells commercial medical benefits to employers in the United States and internationally. Headquartered in Bloomfield, Connecticut and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it exited the Medicare Advantage business in 2025 to concentrate on employer benefits and pharmacy services.

As an Advisor on the Infrastructure Governance and Delivery (IGD) team, you will manage, track, and report on Global Infrastructure & Operations (GI&O) labor contracts. You will also support outsourcing, third-party management, and global workforce needs. You will be the main point of contact between Infrastructure teams, Finance, Global Procurement & Third-Party Management, and Shared Services.

You will help put key supplier contracts in place, save money, and solve supplier issues. You will also help suppliers perform better and lower contract and business risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Track Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Statement of Work (SOW) changes, and costs.
  • Compare top suppliers through a Request for Proposal (RFx) or a similar process. Advise teams on supplier plans, negotiation approaches, and contract terms.
  • Build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships. Manage projects well and communicate clearly during the contract lifecycle.

Managed Services Contract Support

  • Report supplier results against agreed goals each month, quarter, or year.
  • Find and carry out ways to improve supplier oversight and buying processes that can save money or improve operations.
  • Support regular Enterprise Business Reviews with business partners, stakeholders, and suppliers every quarter or twice a year.
  • Complete supplier reviews, such as SLA reviews, business continuity plan reviews, contact updates, and insurance certificate checks.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with business partners to understand their needs and offer supplier solutions.
  • Work through a changing supplier landscape while balancing shifting business priorities and risks.
  • Lead senior-level talks between Cigna and supplier leaders. Bring strategic ideas to business needs, agreements, SLAs, change orders, and SOWs.
  • Work with sourcing teams, Third-Party Management (TPM) colleagues, and business requesters on supplier performance and negotiations.
  • Report on supplier spend, performance, expiring contracts, renewals, and the contract pipeline.
  • End or not renew supplier agreements when needed. Make sure suppliers are set up and removed correctly.
  • Support financial reporting and governance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, legal, operations, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years in strategic sourcing, third-party management, global workforce management, supplier governance, operations, and hiring support.

Required Skills

  • Experience with supplier onboarding, offboarding, due diligence, contracting, governance, performance management, and payment.
  • Proven ability to write and review contracts, SLAs, Master Service Agreements, and SOWs.
  • Good understanding of legal and business contract terms.
