About the business/role/team:

This role sits within the Knowledge Management department at the Bank, a team responsible for delivering insights that support strategic, operational, and regulatory outcomes across the organisation.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in uplifting analytics capability, contributing to cross-functional initiatives, and shaping how data is used to drive decisions across the Bank.

About the role Key responsibilities:

• Drive key data operations, piplines and functions.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of data analysis, from problem definition through to insights and recommendations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical models to support decision-making.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and appropriate use of data in line with governance and risk standards.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practice across the team.

About you To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Great attention to detail
• Strong experience in data analysis within a complex environment (financial services or large corporates desirable), using programming languages (such as R, Python, SQL, Mathematica).
• Advanced skills in SQL and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) and/or analytics platforms.
• The ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, compelling insights for senior, non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
• A curiosity-driven approach and a passion for using data to solve real-world business problems.
