Join The Economist Group, a global media and information-services company. As an Engineering Manager for the AI Platform, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of AI Engineers, ML Engineers, NLP Engineers, and Data Scientists. You will be responsible for the team's health, delivery, and growth while remaining a hands-on contributor. Your work will involve building AI-enabled products and services, shaping architecture, and ensuring quality, security, and compliance.

Missions

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of AI Engineers, ML Engineers, NLP Engineers, and Data Scientists, providing mentorship and career development.
  • Own the delivery of AI and data science projects, including planning, resourcing, prioritization, and delivery in collaboration with product management.
  • Contribute directly to the team’s deliverables by building, prototyping, reviewing code and models, and stepping into implementation when necessary.
