Engineering Manager, Security

Join The Economist Group as an Engineering Manager in Security. In this senior, hands-on leadership role, you will set the direction for security engineering, manage a team of security engineers and cyber analysts, and ensure the effective delivery of complex security initiatives across the organization. You will contribute to the Group's cyber-security strategy, define and evolve security architecture, and drive secure software-development practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading security engineering teams, a strong record of delivering complex security programs, and excellent communication skills.

Missions

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing security team, setting clear priorities and accountability.
• Own the security engineering roadmap, aligning investment and delivery to the Group’s risk appetite and business priorities.
• Contribute to the Group’s cyber-security strategy and translate it into a practical, measurable engineering plan.
