Camp Chef

An established organization within the tourism and hospitality sectors, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences in luxurious settings, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join their team in the Waterberg, Limpopo. What You'll Do:

• Prepare and present high-quality meals in accordance with the lodge’s menus and luxury standards for breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner.
• Ensure consistency in meal quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and stock control to optimize resources.
• Manage portion control, reduce food wastage, and monitor ingredient usage.
• Oversee food quality, freshness, storage, and stock rotation.
• Collaborate closely with lodge management to ensure an outstanding guest dining experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a lodge, hotel, or similar hospitality environment.
• Ability to prepare a variety of dishes to a high standard.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining consistent food quality.
• Excellent teamwork and time management skills.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
