Job Title : Test Engineer - L2/L3 Networking & Python

Experience : 3 - 5 Years

Role Summary :

Looking for a Test Engineer with strong L2/L3 networking knowledge and Python automation experience to validate networking features and build automated test solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute test cases for L2/L3 networking features.

- Validate protocols such as VLAN, STP/RSTP, LACP, ARP, DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, and basic routing.

- Develop automation scripts using Python for test validation and regression testing.

- Perform functional, regression, and scale testing.

- Troubleshoot issues using Wireshark/tcpdump and Linux networking tools.

- Work with development teams for issue debugging and resolution.

Required Skills :

- Strong understanding of Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking concepts.

- Experience in Python scripting for automation.

- Familiarity with Linux, packet capture tools, and networking protocols.

- Basic knowledge of Git and test automation frameworks.

Good to Have :

- Experience with PyTest/Scapy.

- Exposure to network testing, traffic generators, or cloud networking.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
