Our Buyers Assistant role comes with fantastic exposure and a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in merchandise and buying.

You’ll join our passionate team of Buyers, learning, supporting, building knowledge in the dynamic world of merchandise and buying. As Buyers Assistant, (this role works predominantly across Warehouse Stationery with some crossover into The Warehouse in the Office/Technology space), you'll support and take ownership of the day-to-day operational and administrative tasks. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products and processes run smoothly while gaining valuable exposure to the buying function.

This is a busy, detail-focused role where strong communication, organisation and accuracy are essential.

A snapshot of your day (with no two days being the same!):

  • Manage order raising process across your categories
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates
  • Maintaining accurate product data, pricing and imagery
  • Own the sample management process - ensuring samples are reviewed, signed off within critical paths or coordinating across our ranges/SKUs for photography and advertising needs
  • Supporting promotional loading and advertising administration
  • Point of contact for category related queries from stores
  • Providing general administrative and systems support to Buyers
  • Supporting the wider merchandise team and collaborating across functions

This is a permanent opportunity, offering ongoing development within a high-performing and fast-moving category team.

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and a genuine interest in building a career in merchandise and buying. Experience in retail, merchandise, or product environments is beneficial, but most importantly, you’re eager to learn and grow.

You will bring:
