The Warehouse Group is New Zealand's largest general merchandise retail group, headquartered in Auckland and operating The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming chains. Founded by Sir Stephen Tindall in 1982 and listed on the NZX, it runs 218 stores, online stores and distribution centres across the country, sourcing offices in China and India, and employs more than 10,000 people. Its openings are largely store-based, such as Noel Leeming sales consultants and customer service representatives, loss prevention officers, delivery drivers and installation specialists, alongside buying, sales support and data and AI engineering roles.

Looking for variety, exposure, and the chance to build a broad marketing career? This could be your unicorn role.

We're looking for a proactive, hands-on marketing professional with a few years of media experience who's ready to step beyond a traditional specialist role and gain exposure across media, partnerships, sponsorships, events, and brand activations.

Since 1982, The Warehouse has played an important role in everyday Kiwi life. At The Warehouse Group, we're proud to be home to some of Aotearoa's most loved brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. Every day, we work to create meaningful, relevant, and exciting experiences for New Zealanders, and media plays a big part in making that happen.

Reporting to the GM Media, working closely with the immediate team (like our Digital Performance Marketing Specialist) and part of our awesome Marketing team, this is a varied role where no two days look quite the same.

One day you might be reviewing media schedules and campaign performance, the next you'll be coordinating creative assets, managing partnerships, helping deliver influencer events, or packing PR boxes for a brand activation.

You'll play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and optimisation of paid media activity across The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery. A heavy weighting of your role will see you coordinate campaigns from brief through to post-campaign review, partnering with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.

You'll also help bring our sponsorships and partnerships to life - this is a smaller component of the role. Whether it's supporting our work with Auckland FC, coordinating influencer activity, or delivering memorable brand experiences, you'll be at the heart of making things happen.

You're organised, curious, enthusiastic and love getting stuck in. You're equally comfortable working with spreadsheets and campaign reports as you are coordinating people, projects, and events.

You'll bring:

  • 2-3 years' experience in media, marketing, campaign coordination, or a similar role
  • Knowledge of media planning, buying, and measurement across digital & traditional channels
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Confidence analysing campaign results and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to administration and financial processes
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed

When you join The Warehouse Group, you'll enjoy a range of benefits that support your career, wellbeing, and lifestyle, including:

  • Team member discounts across our brands
  • Birthday leave & charity day off
  • Free parking, EV charging at our North Shore Support Office
  • Flexibility, connection, and collaboration, including Friday work for home
  • Onsite café and gym facilities
  • Wellbeing initiatives and development opportunities

Opportunities like this don't come around often. The breadth of exposure this role offers creates a unique platform to grow your career while learning from experienced marketing leaders.

The Warehouse Group is constantly evolving, and this is your opportunity to grow right alongside us!
