Credit Controller

SUMMARY:
JSE listed giant is on the look out for a Credit Controller to join its Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debtor accounts, collections, account reconciliations, payment arrangements, query resolution, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a critical part in reducing overdue debt, improving cash flow, and supporting a positive customer experience.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Manage collections and reduce overdue debt.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Process banking transactions, debit orders, refunds, journals, and account adjustments.
• Resolve customer account queries and provide excellent service.
• Maintain accurate debtor records and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate account management.

• Matric (essential).
• ICM would be a bonus 
• 2-3 years' Credit Control/Debtors experience.
• Strong collections, administration, and customer service skills.
• Computer literate with good Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
