SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading supplier of quality products and solutions to the hospitality and accommodation industry, supporting businesses across Southern Africa with reliable service and industry expertise. They are recruiting for a dynamic and target-driven Internal Sales Consultant / Telesales Consultant to join a growing sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships.
This role requires a proactive sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term business partnerships.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities New Business Development Identify and secure new customers within the hospitality and accommodation sector. Conduct proactive outbound sales activities, including cold calling, lead generation, and email campaigns. Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients. Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals. Convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Account Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Identify opportunities to increase account value and sales revenue. Provide exceptional customer service and support. Follow up on orders, quotations, deliveries, and customer enquiries. Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently. Drive customer retention and repeat business. Sales Administration Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain customer records and sales data on company systems. Prepare sales reports and provide management feedback. Liaise with internal departments regarding stock availability and deliveries. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 \/ Matric. Minimum 3 years' experience in Internal Sales, Business Development, or Account Management. Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets. Experience within hospitality, FMCG, wholesale, distribution, or related industries will be advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working with CRM and\/or ERP systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer-focused approach. Strong administration and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
