What We're Building
Goodwin is building a better way to do business in private aviation.
Our platform brings together charter brokers, aircraft operators, technology, and payments to make every part of a trip easier, from sourcing and booking through payment and settlement.
We’re growing quickly, and we’re looking for someone exceptional to build and own our Accounts Receivable function.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You’ll sit at the center of how money moves through Goodwin and how our customers experience us after every trip. You’ll own the work today while helping us build the systems, processes, and team we’ll need tomorrow.
There is a lot happening and a lot left to build. That’s the opportunity.
Please Note: This is a hybrid role that will work in our headquarters 3 times a week at 4130 E 5th Ave, Columbus, OH.
What You’ll Own
- Lead the full accounts receivable lifecycle, including billing, collections, cash application, account reconciliation, and reporting.
- Build trusted relationships with our brokerage partners and become a trusted financial point of contact.
- Make sure customers receive clear, accurate, and timely information.
- Work across Finance, Operations, and Account Management to resolve trip-level questions and adjustments quickly.
- Maintain a reliable view of every customer account, payment commitment, and expected collection date.
- Provide company leadership with clear weekly reporting and dependable cash forecasts.
- Identify recurring issues and improve the processes behind them.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to automate manual work and build better financial tools for Goodwin and our customers.
- Help shape and grow the broader Revenue Operations function as Goodwin scales.
Who You Are
You’re a strong financial operator and a great relationship builder. You understand the numbers, communicate clearly, and take ownership through the finish line.
You have:
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B accounts receivable, revenue operations, credit, collections, or accounting operations.
- Experience personally owning a meaningful receivables portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of billing, cash application, credits, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- The confidence to work directly with customers, business owners, and senior executives.
- Excellent organization, judgment, and follow-through.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with NetSuite or another ERP.
- The ability to get into the details while also improving the larger process
- Experience in aviation, logistics, transportation, travel, fintech, payments, or another transaction-heavy business is a plus.
A CPA is not required. We care more about what you’ve owned, what you’ve improved, and the results you’ve produced.
