JOB DESCRIPTION - EVENT PROGRAMMING MANAGER

Location: Prague / Warsaw / Katowice

Division: Ticketmaster International

Line Manager: Senior Operations Manager

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 40 hours per week

THE ROLE

As an Event Programming Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Event Programming Specialists. You will be responsible for team performance, event management processes, and delivery quality across your markets.

You will oversee day-to-day event programming operations while remaining close to the detail, ensuring accurate event setup, efficient workflows, and high-quality delivery.

This role combines team leadership with hands-on operational involvement and continuous improvement of processes and client service. You will drive alignment across markets and stakeholders, ensuring consistency in processes, tools, and delivery standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Event Programming Specialists, including coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Accountable for team operational KPIs including delivery SLAs, event setup quality, productivity, and client satisfaction measures.
  • Direct management of specialists.
  • Team performance accountability.
  • Workforce planning responsibilities.
  • Set clear priorities and support the team in managing workload effectively.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment.

Operations & Delivery

  • Oversee daily event programming activities to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Manage and prioritise workload across the team based on client and event needs.
  • Support complex event setups and step in when additional support is required.
  • Ensure smooth execution across the full event lifecycle, from setup to onsale and post-onsale support. Provide on-site assistance to clients when required.
  • Act as an escalation point for operational and client-related issues.
  • Stay up to date with systems, tools, and operational processes.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support business needs.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Client Support, Fan Support, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Align with Client Support on priorities and client needs.
  • Support client adoption of self-service tools where relevant.
  • Represent Event Programming in cross-functional discussions within the region.

Process, Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure accurate event data management across Ticketmaster systems.
  • Oversee usage of TM1, Microflex, and related tools within the team.
  • Ensure proper tracking of work and event updates in Salesforce.
  • Maintain data accuracy across the event lifecycle.
  • Own and improve event management processes within your markets.
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards and monitor quality of event setups.
  • Identify gaps in processes and implement practical improvements.
  • Support rollout of new tools, products, and ways of working within the team.
  • Use data and team feedback to improve efficiency and delivery.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or team leadership role preffered.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Event Programming, Ticketing, or a similar operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of event management processes and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to manage workload and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems with excellent data entry and proof-reading skills.
  • Fluency in local language and English.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
