REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic IT and networking knowledge
  • Afrikaans as a home language
  • Genuine interest in audio-visual technology and related equipment
  • Matric or an equivalent qualification
  • Comfortable working at heights, in ceilings, and handling equipment
  • Valid driver’s licence and a clear criminal record
  • Willingness to be on standby for one Saturday per month
ADVANTAGEOUS
  • A completed qualification or course in AV, sound engineering, IT, or electronics
DUTIES
  • Test, configure, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment
  • Assist with the setup and live operation of audio and video equipment at events, private residences, and various venues
  • Provide professional, patient, and courteous support to clients in both Afrikaans and English
  • Install cabling and connections, including XLR, HDMI, SDI, and network cables
  • Maintain accurate equipment logs and ensure the store and vehicles remain organised and well maintained
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
