Duty Engineer

We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled Duty Engineer to join our Engineering team and ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of all hotel facilities and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and other hotel systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and plant rooms.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely repairs.
• Monitor critical equipment and report abnormalities to the Engineering Supervisor/Chief Engineer.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and shift handover reports.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to complete maintenance requests efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and hotel engineering standards.
• Support energy-saving and preventive maintenance initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field preferred.
• 2–4 years of Hospitality experience.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of BMS/CMMS is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Candidates:

• Candidates currently available in the UAE.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Previous hotel/resort experience is highly desirable.
• Flexible, reliable, and guest-service oriented.
