We are looking for an experienced Platform Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure that powers mission-critical production systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, cloud-native technologies, and platform engineering in large-scale production environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes platforms.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Implement GitOps practices using ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Improve platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, observability, and incident response.
  • Drive automation, scalability, security, and operational excellence across cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and platform capabilities.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS/OpenShift).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Strong CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting using Python or Go.
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or similar observability tools.
  • Experience supporting highly available, large-scale production environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in product-based companies or large fintech organisations.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
  • Knowledge of SRE practices including SLOs, SLIs, incident management, and postmortems.
  • Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline from a reputed institute.
