We are toogeza, a Ukrainian recruiting company that is focused on hiring talents and building teams for tech startups worldwide. People make a difference in the big game, we may help to find the right ones.
Currently, we are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer for Zibra A.
About our client
Zibra AI is a deep-tech company building data infrastructure for spatial and physical AI. With deep expertise in 3D data compression, GPU technologies, and real-time data pipelines, the team develops technology that enables large-scale 3D datasets to be stored, streamed, visualized, and used for AI workflows more efficiently.
Product Overview
Zibra AI is building the data infrastructure layer for Physics AI - bringing streaming, random access, and GPU-native processing to massive 3D scientific datasets. Our goal is to make petabyte-scale simulation data as easy to access and work with as video is today.
Role Overview
We are looking for a senior C++ engineer to work on deep integration with ParaView and VTK, building custom readers, plugins, and visualization workflows for large scientific and engineering datasets.
This role sits at the intersection of scientific visualization, high-performance C++, and large-scale data access. You will work on making massive remote datasets interactive inside ParaView, with a strong focus on progressive loading, random access, memory efficiency, and custom visualization tooling.
What you will do
Develop and maintain ParaView plugins and custom readers in C++.
Integrate custom data formats and remote data sources into the VTK/ParaView pipeline.
Translate user interaction into selective data requests by field, timestep, spatial region, and resolution.
Build progressive loading and rendering workflows for datasets too large to fit fully in memory.
Implement request cancellation, caching, prefetching, and incremental scene updates.
Convert streamed data into VTK-compatible structures such as vtkUnstructuredGrid, vtkPolyData, and volumetric datasets.
Customize ParaView UI and workflows where needed for a better end-user experience.
Profile and optimize CPU, memory, network, and rendering performance.
Work with backend and GPU engineers on end-to-end data delivery.
Contribute selected generic improvements upstream to VTK/ParaView where appropriate.
What we are looking for
Strong production experience with modern C++.
Hands-on experience with VTK and/or ParaView.
Good understanding of the VTK pipeline, readers, filters, data objects, and update requests.
Experience working with large 3D scientific or engineering datasets.
Strong understanding of memory management, multithreading, and performance profiling.
Experience with mesh, volumetric, point-cloud, or time-dependent data.
Ability to work in a complex mature C++ codebase and debug across multiple abstraction layers.
Comfortable working close to both product and low-level infrastructure teams.
Nice to have
Experience writing ParaView server-manager XML, custom panels, or Qt-based ParaView UI extensions.
Knowledge of remote or distributed ParaView deployments.
Experience with CFD, FEA, CAE, HPC, or scientific computing.
Familiarity with Zarr, HDF5, ADIOS2, XDMF, CGNS, Exodus, or similar scientific data formats.
Experience with spatial indexing, LOD, progressive rendering, or out-of-core visualization.
CUDA, Vulkan, OpenGL, or GPU-data-pipeline experience.
Python experience for ParaView scripting and rapid prototyping.
Open-source contribution experience, particularly in VTK, ParaView, or related projects.
