TopDog Law is a personal injury law firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona, that handles client cases end to end, from marketing and intake through pre-litigation, settlement and litigation. Operating as a fully remote organisation, it reports growing two to three times year over year for three years and is scaling case management and operations nationally, with teams covering states such as Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina and Tennessee. It hires settlement supervisors, pre-litigation case managers, receptionists, trust accounting and law firm analytics staff, data and product managers and IT specialists.

Our Story

TopDog Law is a nationally scaling personal injury firm that owns the client experience end to end, from marketing and intake through litigation. We've grown 2-3x year over year for three years running, and we're now building the operations, systems, and teams to scale without sacrificing quality or culture. We're fully remote, and we value ownership, open communication, and speed. If you want to help build something exceptional, you'll feel at home here.

The Opportunity

This role is an opportunity to:

  • Join a rapidly growing national firm at a formative stage
  • Make a visible, measurable impact on a rapidly growing business
  • Grow your skills, responsibility, and influence as the firm scales
  • Work alongside high-caliber, mission-driven teammates who care deeply about doing great work

We are looking for people who don’t just want a job, they want purpose and impact.

What You Will Own

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Work directly with Settlement Supervisors to process settlement files from case resolution through final distribution.
  • Confirm provider and lien balances as directed and accurately document the file
  • Track case progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution
  • Communicate with providers, attorneys, lienholders, and third parties for requests and provide settlement status
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
  • Maintain organized and complete settlement files in case management systems
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance and accurate disbursement.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes-not just following existing playbooks

At TopDog Law, everyone is expected to think critically, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their work.

What You Bring

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in legal settlements, personal injury, or litigation support
  • Strong knowledge of lien resolution, settlement statements, and disbursement processes
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in case management and financial systems
  • Strong communication skills-written and verbal
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in a fast-growing or high-volume environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems
  • Experience in legal, professional services, or client-centric organizations

Who Thrives Here (Core Values)

We don't hire on resumes alone. We hire for competence, character, and mindset.

  • Embrace Change: Open to feedback, embracing change, and always asking "what's next?"
  • Committed: You care deeply, have your teammates' backs, and show up to build something lasting.
  • No-Ego Energy: Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented. Drama stays at the door.
  • Ownership: You do what you say, follow through, and treat the business like it's yours.
  • Fast & Hungry: You move with urgency, thrive under high expectations, and are motivated by growth and impact.

What We Offer

  • A front-row seat at a company in high growth mode, with room to grow your role as the company grows
  • Benefits include: All benefits required by Guatemala law

About the Role

The Settlement Coordinator supports the settlement process by managing case files from resolution through final disbursement, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payouts. This role is critical to our success because it:

  • Directly impacts [clients / revenue / case outcomes / team efficiency]
  • Supports speed, quality, and consistency as we scale
  • Helps protect and elevate the TopDog Law brand and client experience
  • Strengthens the foundation needed to grow responsibly and sustainably
