In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and optimize Python-based solutions, automating manual and Excel-driven processes to boost efficiency
• Take full ownership of the codebase, ensuring our digital products are reliable, maintainable, and ready for real-world challenges
• Operate and run Clearview, our flagship digital product, supporting its evolution from development to robust, scalable operation
• Collaborate closely with Technical Service Engineers, customer experts, and stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions that work seamlessly in customer environments
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and proactively prevent operational issues, using your expertise to drive continuous improvement
• Define and validate telemetry and data requirements, ensuring our solutions are data-rich and insight-driven
• Champion best practices in documentation, process improvement, and customer support, helping us set new standards for operational excellence

What you will bring:

We are looking for candidates who are ready to make a difference from day one. You will bring:

• A relevant academic degree, such as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Chemical or Process Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical or quantitative discipline
• Strong Python development skills, with hands-on experience in debugging, maintaining, and supporting operational solutions
• A track record in data science and supporting or operating production or customer-facing systems
• The drive and confidence to take ownership of a complete codebase and see projects through to successful operation
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining deployed analytical or digital solutions
• A structured, practical approach to solving operational challenges
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about chemical and process engineering

It will be an added advantage if you have any experience in :

• Data engineering and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)
• Spark or Databricks
• Docker or Kubernetes
• SQL or NoSQL databases
• Dashboards or web-based analytical tools
• Cloud platforms and DevOps practices
• Customer-facing digital products or industrial systems

You will become part of a close-knit data science group of around six dedicated professionals who have built Clearview from the ground up. As we shift our focus to reliable operation, customer support, and ongoing product improvement, you will have the opportunity to work across data science, Python development, product operations, and customer collaboration.
