IAM Development Engineer

Role and impact

As an IAM Development Engineer at Topsoe, you will help design, develop, and maintain the integrations and platform functionality that support secure, reliable identity and access management across the organization.

You will work with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and a wide range of enterprise applications to enable seamless application onboarding and robust identity lifecycle processes. From analysis and design to testing, deployment, rollback, and stabilization, you will help deliver solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with Topsoe’s IAM architecture.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain IAM connectors for enterprise applications, including SAP and other connected systems.
• Configure SailPoint ISC functionality and implement provisioning and deprovisioning workflows.
• Support joiner, mover, and leaver processes, access requests, access reviews, and role-based access models.
• Support application onboarding by analyzing requirements, identity data, roles, and entitlements.
• Perform technical testing and support deployment, rollback, troubleshooting, and stabilization activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-transfer activities.
• Improve development processes, integration patterns, and operational practices.

What you will bring

You have a strong background in integration and development, combined with an understanding of identity provisioning and IAM processes. You are comfortable working in a global corporate environment and collaborating with technical teams, application owners, and stakeholders.

We are looking for experience with:

• REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SCIM.
• OAuth2, client credentials, certificates, tokens, and other authentication methods.
• Java, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting and development languages.
• Git and version control systems.
• Debugging, log analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
• Identity provisioning, application integrations, and lifecycle processes.
• Clear communication, structured problem-solving, and effective documentation.
• Experience is SailPoint (Certification will be an advantage)

Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:

• SailPoint certification and connector development.
• Cloud and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integrations.
• CI/CD processes and secure coding practices.
• SAP, Topdesk, Active Directory, or Entra ID.
• SQL-based applications and enterprise platforms.
• Designing or maintaining role-based access models.
• Working with global teams and complex system dependencies.
