Senior Mechanical Engineer

Toptech Engineering Limited is a prominent systems integrator in West Africa, specialising in power, data centre and enterprise IT infrastructure solutions. The company is currently looking to fill the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer.

The company is seeking a mechanical engineer with solid experience to join its team. This position goes beyond conventional engineering duties. The ideal candidate is someone capable of resolving intricate client challenges, devising inventive engineering solutions and offering dependable technical advisory services in the areas of data centres, energy efficiency, HVAC and renewable energy infrastructure.

• Take the lead on mechanical engineering assessments, feasibility studies and technical advisory projects.
• Design and evaluate HVAC, cooling and mechanical systems for data centres and other critical infrastructure.
• Carry out site surveys, engineering analysis and design reviews.
• Draft and review technical reports, bills of quantities, specifications and proposals.
• Liaise with clients and translate complicated engineering matters into practical, commercially sound solutions.
• Assist with business development and help secure consulting opportunities.

• B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Substantial experience in HVAC, data centres, critical infrastructure, energy or MEP consulting.
• Demonstrated track record in engineering design, technical assessments and client advisory work.
• Robust analytical, consulting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Registration with COREN.
• Certifications in data centres, renewable energy or project management.
