Key Responsibilities
As a Student Assistant in the Engineering Team, you will have the opportunity to learn about engineering activities in the oil & gas industry. Furthermore, you will have the chance to work in close collaboration with several specialists who will mentor you and help you develop technical skills and knowledge within modifications to offshore topsides facilities. This is a unique way for you to turn theory into practice.
Overall, through frequent interaction with your work mentor and other experts, you will quickly expand your technical knowledge. Moreover, you will support the department with administrative and routine tasks.
Your weekly tasks might include:
- Searching for technical information in the TEPDK documentation system
- Maintaining and updating modification project lists
- Supporting maturation of engineering studies and concepts
- Preparing presentations, generating reports and dashboards
- Maintaining and developing engineering templates
- Filing and organizing technical documentation
- Supporting tender evaluations (comparison/overview)
- Assisting with fitness-for-service assessments
- IT onboarding support
- Preparing service entry sheets
- Handling ad hoc tasks
