TotalEnergies Exploration & Production Denmark (TEPDK), a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, operates major offshore oil and gas assets in the Danish North Sea. Our offices are located in Esbjerg, Denmark.

Our Digital Team manages more than 50 innovative digital solutions, ranging from internally developed applications to external platforms and headquarters-driven initiatives. We have strong expertise in data science, proof of concepts, and functional prototypes, helping transform ambitious ideas into practical digital solutions.

Our users span the entire affiliate, including offshore and onshore operations, finance, drilling, field operations, and industrial methods teams.

Your Role

As a Softawre Engineer, your work will focus on two main areas:

• Application Portfolio Maintenance : you will contribute to the evolution and support of a diverse portfolio of digital solutions developed by the team. Some applications are mature products transitioning into operational support with external contractors, while others are early-stage MVPs that still require further development and vision.
• Building New Digital Solutions : you will be actively involved in the development of new products from the earliest stages, collaborating directly with key users during framing and design workshops to transform business needs into digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Structure and develop new digital sub-products and features.
• Ensure application architecture aligns with company standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the Data Management team to guarantee data availability and reliability.
• Deliver solutions on time and according to quality standards.
• Additional Responsibilities

Depending on operational priorities, you may also:

• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of existing applications, including bug fixing, user feedback integration, and feature enhancements.
• Contribute to the maintenance of Azure environments, on-premises services, servers, and data pipelines.
• Develop new Proofs of Concept (POCs) and support Data Scientists during the prototyping phase.
• Provide scalable front-end and back-end components to accelerate solution development.
• Support product maturity initiatives and contribute to scaling successful solutions into enterprise-grade products.

Among the exciting initiatives currently in the pipeline:

• Development of an application for the automatic identification and tagging of valves and their attributes on technical drawings used by offshore personnel.
• Expansion of an existing digital solution aimed at reducing emissions on a newly commissioned gas field.
