Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Engineer who will be responsible for field-level execution of data logger installation, configuration, and troubleshooting at customer sites. This role involves close coordination with the in-house tech support team to ensure smooth deployment of TrackSo’s monitoring solutions. You’ll travel frequently across the region (and occasionally pan-India) to visit solar plants and other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to install, configure, and troubleshoot data loggers and sensors.

• Coordinate remotely with the technical support team for device setup and live testing.

• Ensure successful commissioning and reporting of the installed devices.

• Maintain installation quality standards and ensure documentation is completed.

• Provide basic on-site training to customer personnel when required.

• Follow safety and operational procedures during field visits.

• Record and escalate any technical issues encountered during site visits.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.

• 0-2 years of field experience in electrical/IoT/Solar industry (freshers can also apply).

• Basic understanding of data loggers, sensors, and communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, TCP/IP) is a plus

• Comfortable using tools and basic electrical instruments.

• Willingness to travel (50% or more of the time).

• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with remote teams.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.

Good to Have

• Previous experience in solar or energy monitoring projects.

• Understanding of cloud-based monitoring systems.

• Familiarity with basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, SIM-based communication).
