Purchasing Supervisor - Bricks & Interlock Manufacturing

Supervise and manage the daily purchasing activities and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Handle the procurement of raw materials, spare parts, machinery components, consumables, and production requirements related to bricks and interlock manufacturing.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best prices, quality, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
Maintain and develop a reliable supplier base and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.
Review purchase requisitions and issue Purchase Orders through SAP.
Monitor open Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, Finance, and Planning departments to ensure material availability and avoid production disruptions.
Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Participate in supplier selection, negotiations, and contract agreements.
Prepare purchasing reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance reports for management.
Ensure proper documentation and accurate purchasing records on SAP
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement.
Previous experience in bricks, interlock, concrete products, or a closely related manufacturing industry is essential.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Purchasing / Procurement modules.
Solid knowledge of industrial purchasing, especially raw materials, spare parts, and production supplies.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
