CDL Driver - Glen Eddy
One Glen Eddy Dr, Niskayuna, NY
Per Diem | Mixed Shift
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional Friday coverage from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Glen Eddy Niskayuna is an Independent and Enriched Housing Senior Living Community dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality care to our residents.
What You Will Do
As a CDL Driver, you will provide safe, reliable, door-to-door transportation for residents traveling to:
Medical appointments
Shopping trips
Community outings
Recreational activities
Other scheduled destinations
Responsibilities
Safely operate community transportation vehicles.
Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
Operate wheelchair lifts and mobility equipment.
Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout transport.
Perform occasional heavy lifting and pushing as needed.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with residents and families.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid New York State Driver's License.
CDL with Passenger Endorsement required.
Minimum one year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs, preferably older adults.
Pay rate:
$18.50 - $24.55
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
