Telemetry Technician - Trinity Health OaklandEmployment Type: Full-Time/Day Shift
Location: Trinity Health Oakland, Michigan
What You Will Do
As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a vital role in patient care by supporting nursing staff and ensuring accurate cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and telemetry for patients.
- Providing leadership and professional support in telemetry monitoring activities.
- Collaborating with nursing leadership to standardize arrhythmia management and non-invasive cardiology testing.
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams to design and implement clinical standards of care for monitored patients.
- Promoting exceptional customer service and organizational values.
What You Will Need
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- One of the following:
- Completion of a Cardiac Monitoring program.
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through CCI.
- OR 2 years of related experience in lieu of certification.
- Preferred: State of Michigan Paramedic license.
