Sr. Consultant, Forecasting

Position Summary

The Senior Consultant, Forecasting role is an integral member of Trinity's Commercial Analytics group, supporting client engagements focused on forecasting and commercial decision-making within the life sciences industry.

We are looking for a driven, analytical, and collaborative individual who will be responsible for designing and developing forecast models, managing key workstreams within client engagements, and delivering high-quality forecasting analyses and recommendations to both clients and internal stakeholders.

The Senior Consultant will work closely with Engagement Managers and leadership team members while contributing to multiple projects simultaneously. This position offers an opportunity to develop deep forecasting expertise while building client management, project leadership, and consulting skills.

What You'll Do

Forecast Development & Analytics

• Build and maintain forecast models across a variety of project types and therapeutic areas.
• Develop demand forecasts, patient-based forecasts, patient flow forecasts, business development valuations, and long-range planning models.
• Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze and interpret life sciences data to generate actionable business insights.
• Support latest estimate cycles and annual planning efforts for clients.

Client & Project Delivery

• Manage individual workstreams and key deliverables within larger client engagements.
• Serve as a day-to-day contributor on client projects while partnering closely with Engagement Managers and project leadership.
• Participate in client discussions, presentations, and working sessions.
• Deliver high-quality analyses, forecasts, and client-ready materials.
• Maintain accountability for accuracy, quality, and timeliness of assigned work.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with forecasting leadership and cross-functional experts including market research, commercial analytics, data science, and data solutions teams.
• Support knowledge sharing and forecasting best practices across the team.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior team members when appropriate.
• Contribute to process improvements, forecasting methodologies, and quality assurance practices.

Internal Development

• Support proposal development and business development efforts as needed.
• Contribute to internal forecasting initiatives, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in team-building and capability development activities.

What You'll Bring

• · 4-6 years of work experience in life sciences forecasting. Experience/familiarity with life sciences data and analytics is preferred.
• BS or MS in quantitative, business, or other related fields
• Experience supporting demand forecasting, business development forecasting, NPV analyses, value forecasting, long-range planning cycles, and/or latest estimate processes.
• Experience developing and delivering forecasting models and supporting strategic business decisions.
• Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience building forecasting models and interpreting forecasting outputs.
• Exposure to commercial pharmaceutical and biotechnology data.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VBA experience preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills, level of experience and training, specific qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and other business/organizational needs. The base salary range for this role is $118,000 - $177,000 per year. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
