About the Role
Join the founding and platform engineering teams as a customer-facing engineer deploying AI agents into manufacturing procurement and supply chain operations. You will turn customer challenges into production solutions and help build a repeatable deployment approach.
What You'll Do
Build relationships with manufacturing customers and work with their IT, supply chain, and procurement teams to identify and scope new workflows.
Translate customer needs into technical requirements, then build and ship production code in enterprise environments.
Lead deployments from discovery through go-live and own outcomes such as inventory management, sourcing efficiency, and forecast accuracy.
Travel to customer facilities, including internationally, to work alongside operators and support adoption.
Share field learnings with platform engineering to make future deployments more reliable and efficient.
What We're Looking For
One to five years of customer-facing full-stack or forward-deployed engineering experience, including ownership of customer deployments and production outcomes.
Experience scoping end-to-end automation or workflow deployments, gathering technical requirements, and delivering solutions in enterprise customer environments.
Strong engineering skills, including experience with Python or similar languages, SQL, APIs, and complex enterprise data; familiarity with ERP systems, LLMs, or AI agents is relevant.
Ability to navigate ambiguous problems, identify new use cases within existing accounts, and work independently without extensive process or support.
Strong computer science fundamentals and exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments are valuable.
Comfort with approximately 15% to 30% travel, including international travel, primarily to Europe and Asia.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $175,000 to $255,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week.
