About the Role
Join an early-stage B2B SaaS team building AI-powered workflow software for industrial distributors. As a customer-facing engineer, you will take deployments from discovery through production and turn what you learn from customers into product improvements.
What You'll Do
Customize data ingestion for customer file formats, ERP systems, and workflows so distributors can get value quickly.
Lead discovery conversations and customer site visits, translating operational needs into product features.
Build and ship prototypes, internal tools, and customer-facing workflows, then strengthen solutions that prove useful.
Develop AI agents and LLM-powered workflows to automate manual quoting and related tasks.
Prepare and deliver product demos, participate in customer visits, and support pilots.
Own technical customer relationships after launch, help customers realize value, and identify further opportunities to improve their workflows.
What We're Looking For
One to five years of full-stack or backend engineering experience, including production software used by real users.
Experience building with Python and TypeScript.
A degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or another quantitative field.
Experience presenting technical work to non-technical buyers and working directly with customers in a forward-deployed, solutions, sales engineering, or similar role.
Use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
Ability to work with ambiguity and build an early-stage project from scratch; hardware, procurement, supply chain, ERP, or legacy system experience is helpful.

Location
