About the Role
Join a small engineering team at a Series A AI procurement software company, building an AI agent platform that helps large enterprises automate procurement. This hands-on individual contributor role spans the full stack, with a focus on creating reliable systems for complex enterprise data and workflows.
What You'll Do
Learn the product, codebase, and customer needs to identify and solve high-value problems.
Work across infrastructure, backend services, and user interfaces as product priorities evolve.
Speak directly with enterprise customers to understand procurement challenges and translate insights into product improvements.
Design and own core AI agent systems, primarily using Python, to work with fragmented enterprise data.
Collaborate with engineering leadership and teammates to shape platform architecture as it scales.
What We're Looking For
Three to seven years of software engineering experience, with production code contributions across the full stack.
Strong Python experience, or proficiency in another language and the ability to ramp up quickly.
Experience building distributed systems or data pipelines, and working on core product systems rather than primarily lightweight integrations.
Curiosity, self-direction, sound technical judgment, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and customers.
Experience at a leading AI lab, established technology company, or venture-backed growth-stage startup is valued.
Procurement, supply chain, industrial technology, founding engineer, or startup experience is a plus.
Strong technical fundamentals are valued across a range of educational and professional backgrounds.
Comfort working as an individual contributor and a history of sustained contributions in prior roles.
