Role overview

The Program Manager will coordinate Learning and Enablement programs supporting Databricks, with immediate emphasis on the Databucks rewards program. The role combines campaign operations, portfolio governance, stakeholder coordination and impact reporting, while supporting release workflows and automation initiatives. The Program Manager will maintain clear ownership, reliable execution and visibility across parallel workstreams.

Key responsibilities

Employee reward program

  • Manage redemption communications for individual contributors across four balance buckets and AMER, EMEA and APJ. Maintain a separate awarding and competition communication stream for people managers and business unit leaders.
  • Coordinate recipient and balance refreshes, maintain the monthly communications calendar, validate templates and product images, and test campaigns before sending.
  • Operate Google Apps Script mail merges and Gmail campaigns within quota and batch limits. Schedule sends for regional mornings, prevent duplicate sends and maintain the redemption Send Log.
  • Monitor recipient replies and respond within the documented 24-hour service level. Follow program rules for audience targeting and copy, including Databucks-only values and approved references to the Databucks Assistant.

Reporting and program improvement

  • Coordinate the communications impact dashboard using store orders, send logs, the rewards ledger and roster data. Support channel comparisons, business unit and level filters, regional views and monthly or quarterly reporting.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into a prioritized delivery plan. Coordinate dashboard integration into the Databucks App and work with technical owners on reporting and communications automation.
  • Maintain the P&E executive dashboard and Genie Space, support Fox/Tubi dashboards, and provide weekly digests that make progress, risks and decisions clear.

Portfolio governance and automation

  • Maintain Asana portfolio governance and field hygiene. Track milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions and action owners across the PMO portfolio.
  • Coordinate release management transformation, including interim coverage where required, release newsletter workflows, LELOC localization and CURRIDEV to LERM synchronization alerts.
  • Support learning operations automation for voucher, certification and cohort reminders. Coordinate PMO AI Build intake and certification through Portfolio Pulse and support the Prism PMO Intelligence Platform.
  • Coordinate the Claude Enablement Program for contractors and maintain Genie learning paths, runbooks and documentation. Ensure knowledge transfer and continuity of ownership for scripts, files, skills and projects.

Stakeholder coordination and decision rights

Work closely with the PMO Lead, campaign and data owners, dashboard sponsors, technical leads and program stakeholders. Own day-to-day execution for assigned workstreams, obtain the designated accountable owner’s approval, and escalate unresolved risks or dependencies. Coordinate with the Databucks Assistant and fulfillment automation owners rather than assume ownership of their technical systems.

Required qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple programs or projects with cross-functional stakeholders, preferably in learning and enablement, PMO operations or technology programs.
  • Strong campaign operations, audience segmentation and written communication skills, with careful attention to data quality and quality assurance.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Asana, Google Sheets and Google Workspace. Ability to operate and troubleshoot existing Google Apps Script workflows and coordinate more complex changes with technical owners.
  • Ability to interpret dashboards, define reporting requirements and communicate program outcomes. Strong documentation, prioritization and issue-management skills.

Preferred experience

Experience with Databricks and Genie, AI-assisted workflows such as Claude, learning operations, release management, rewards programs or reporting that combines data from multiple systems.

Measures of success

Timely and accurate regional campaigns, no duplicate sends, replies within the 24-hour service level, reliable portfolio status and reporting, and completion of agreed dashboard and automation milestones. Track redemption and awarding trends to inform improvements without attributing all changes to communications alone.
